In the Eerikinkatu apartment Sibelius completed surprisingly few works. The most important achievement was the revised version of En Saga.

In Antinkatu (now Lönnrotinkatu) Sibelius was able to work hard despite the temptations of Helsinki. He composed the incidental music for Death, the associated Valse triste, the first version of his violin concerto, Cassazione and important songs such as In the Night and On a Balcony by the Sea.
